Leif Podhajsky is a contemporary graphic designer who uses digital editing as his artwork. Playing mathematical concepts, such as fractals, he creates interesting and dynamic pieces which draw the eye. It would seem that he takes inspiration from M.C Escher's lithographs, but due to modern technology and trends he incorporates vibrant colors to create a more compelling view that draws the eye closer in order to appreciate the subtle pixel shading possible through computer technology. In some cases he has an almost arabesque feeling creating an infinitely complex geometric scenes which upon inspection only reveals more complexity and almost overwhelm the eye. As a designer he works mostly with album covers and product endorsement, such as Tame Impala, but his pieces seem to stand out as artwork of their own.
